You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit powerover long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. www.abb.com/hvdc.Do you want to be part of a global company where you will be given opportunity to expand into new markets and create competitive tenders? As our Bid Manager, you will lead the team responsible for proposals for the Control and Protection (C&P) system of HVDC stations.
Your responsibilities
You will lead our tender work for greenfield opportunities, analyze cost performance, identify risks and plan mitigations, and improve the overall process for the future.
As a stakeholder of the HVDC tender group you shall be responsible for the C&P Bid and Proposal process as well as be the contact person to the product group's Bid and Proposal organization.
This position is both challenging and holistic in the spectrum of responsibilities.

Your background
You are a technical entrepreneur with knowledge in, and experience from, system development, preferably within HVDC technology.
You are structured, flexible and have established experience as a project manager.
You have genuine technical interest and are always open to develop your skills within other fields.
It is expected that you can effectively use Microsoft's Office for planning, analysis and communication with concerned stakeholders.
Since we are a global company, it is important that you are effectively work in a multi-cultural work environment.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Swedish is desirable.
It is essential that you are positive to travel a couple of weeks in a year and that you always represent ABB is the best possible way.
You are a social person who actively collaborated with people from various business areas and parts of world.
