A communicative Project Manager who enjoys driving Bid operations within an intense business oriented environment. The understanding of complex technical projects and an interest of keeping the numbers right is essential.
Your role
As a Bid Manager, you coordinate all necessary parts included in a bid. You are responsible for start-up meetings, coordinating the calculating organizations and make sure that steps in the Winning Business process are handled accordingly. This includes the compilation of bids for platform projects as well as defining delivery plans and risk assessment.
The professional interface you will have consist of the:
• Product Sales Responsibel (PSR) within Airborne ISR's Sales and Marketing Departement.
• All contributing Saab Buiness Areas and Business Units.
• Your line-organization for business and continous improvements.
Your profile
You are a motivated, communicative Project Manager with a good understanding of complex projects in a technical context. Preferably, you have worked with bid operations in large projects. You are a team player and enjoy calculating that manages to deliver in line with given conditions, sometimes in-depth and sometimes more of an overall estimate. You are interested in developing our ways of working with our different interfaces and within our internal line organization,
Your qualifications also consists of:
• Good knowledge within project cost control and calculating structures.
• Previous Project Management experience.
• Good communicative ability in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• Thrives in a global and complex business environment.
What you will be a part of
Airborne ISR is a business unit within Saab Business Area Support & Services. We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts (AEW/MPA/MSA) and In service support of delivered systems.
We are currently managing a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration projects. The business and the interests for our platforms are in an expanding phase with many interesting prospects. Our organisation cooperate with a number of different internal interfaces, which calls for excellent cooperation and communication skills.
