This is a junior position that will allow the successful candidate to grow into the role of Bid Manager whilst getting to know our organization, products and building a company-wide network of contacts.

What you will be a part of
Business Unit Training & Simulation develops and manufactures training system mainly towards military users. The offer ranges from laser simulators and management systems to virtual simulators and e-learning. The products are based on a combination of electronics, advanced application development, IT technology with databases, optics, analog and digital radio technology and precision engineering. Training & Simulation operates globally with 600 employees spread out on the local sites in Huskvarna, Helsingborg, Stockholm, Sweden, Germany, USA, England, Canada, Norway, Holland, the Czech Republic, Kenya and Finland.
We are looking to strengthening our Product Management team with more capabilities around writing bids and proposals. This is a junior position that will allow the successful candidate to grow into the role of Bid Manager whilst getting to know our organization, products and building a company-wide network of contacts.
This is a full-time position based in Huskvarna and involves some travelling, both in Sweden and abroad.
• Responsible for the proposal work
• Initiate, organize and execute the planned proposal activities within the defined budget and deadlines.
• Liaise with other functions and departments in order to get the best input to bids and proposals
• Regular reporting of proposal progress to the bid organization as well as the marketing organization..
• Participate in contract negotiations.
Your skills and experience
This vacancy is aimed at recent university students with a degree in Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, or similar, with a few years' work experience.
• It is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both written and spoken language.
• Good business skills are required
• You have good knowledge in MS Office particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint .
• We expect you to have a commercial mind-set combined with a technical understanding
• We expect you to be a strong communicator towards stakeholders at all levels
It is a merit to have knowledge of other languages, editorial work and price/cost calculations.

As Bid Manager you will be involved in analyzing and managing bids in response to received requests for proposals from our customers as well as project managing the proposal work.
