Your role
As our business is growing so are we. In order to meet the increased market interest and demand in a fast pace environment and with more export business ahead of us, we are strengthening our Bid Office team. You will work closely with the other colleagues within Saab Kockum's Commercial team, located in Malmö and Karlskrona, as well as with our Business Units and Marketing & Sales Organization. In your role as a Bid Manager, you have two main areas of responsibility. These are managing the price calculations and the bidding process for our project.
Your main tasks include:
* Development of proposals that meet customer expectations and enhance win probability
* Lead a core project team to be able to offer customer bids and manage internal stakeholders hereto
* Conducting thorough calculations and budget analyses to ensure accurate project estimations and business decisions
* Creating and negotiating Payment plans
* Manage and interact with important Stakeholders
Travel within Sweden, can be expected a few days every month. International travel may also occur. Location for this position is Malmö initially, but we will rellocate to Lund later in the year.
Your profile
We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion and understanding for business and numbers. To be successful in this role we believe you are a highly motivated person, with the ability to work independently. On top of this we believe you have strong professional integrity. As this role interacts with many stakeholders, you need to enjoy networking and building strong and long-lasting relationships.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in a business-related area, preferably within finance, project management or equivalent
* A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in proposal management or advanced calculations.
* Knowledge and interest in Risk Management
* Good communicative ability in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (verbal and written)
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on Excel
* Driving license
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply
