We are looking for an exceptionally talented backend developer to help tackle some of the most complex problems in the world and drive a revolutionary transformation in the field of logistics. We are specifically looking for individuals already proven their skills in designing and constructing large, intricate systems that are also easily maintainable.

Our cutting-edge technology, developed through extensive research at KTH, enables us to optimize our logistics fleet in real-time, delivering superior cost-efficiency and environmental sustainability.
What are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a Backend Developer who will play an important role in expanding and enhancing the services offered by Airmee, including tasks such as construction and upkeep of private and public APIs, and the scalability of our infrastructure to effectively manage ever-increasing data loads.
Our AWS Lambda (NodeJS and Python) APIs are connected to AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) instances. The entire system infrastructure is hosted on AWS.
Proficiency in test-driven development is a must, as we strive for comprehensive test coverage of 100%. We place strong emphasis on well-documented and readable code, so we expect you to write clean code and document it thoroughly.
You should be comfortable working with staging and production environments, ensuring smooth transitions between the two.

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have:
• previous experience in NodeJS and Python API development, preferably Serverless technology, ideally on AWS Lambda
• solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Clean architecture principles
• previous experience working with large relational databases
• competence in testing with Mocha and Karma (for JS APIs)
• comfortable working with agile methods
It will be amazing if you also,
• have some projects on github (any sharable repository would work)
• you are a contributor to the open source community
• have experience with Python data science libraries (e.g. numpy and pandas)
• have experience with PostgreSQL
