Audition information
Date: May 19-20, 2019
Place: Stockholm, Sweden
The position is 2nd trombone with obligation to play 3rd trombone (including bass trombone).
Compulsory works
• Ferdinand David, Concertino for trombone, movements 1&2 including cadenza (on tenor trombone)
• Alexej K Lebedev, Concerto in one movement (on bass trombone)
• Orchestral excerpts and ensemble works
• The applicant should be prepared to perform at the audition on both tenor and bass trombone (bore 0.562")
Candidates without the relevant orchestral experience may be asked to participate in a pre-audition that will take place on May 19th.
Applicants will be informed shortly after the application deadline if they are invited to this preliminary round or directly to the audition on May 20th.
