What you'll do
At Electrical Performance we focus on customer benefit throughout the service life of the car with respect to reliability, safety and availability related to the electrical system and its hardware. We provide requirements to design departments and give technical support to function, system and complete vehicle in order to reach the attribute target. We predict attribute status based on requirement fulfilment during the development phase and we verify, mainly on complete vehicle, before start-of-production. We continuously develop and benchmark our requirement set, physically, virtually and networking internationally eg through participating in international standardization working groups.
As Attribute Architect you will lead the strategic development of the Attribute based on today's and future customer needs. This is a new role, strongly connected to the complete vehicle sub-team, with purpose to speed up strategic development. You will set the goals for the strategic work and drive the continuous strategic planning including roadmap and related features. Your focus areas will include:
• Gathering of field data
• Identifying customer use cases
• Looking forward on new technologies
• Other new challenges, such as "shift left" including simulations
• Balancing based on costumer value
You have a strong focus on deliveries, and you make clear and transparent plans to enable colleagues to take part in the strategic work. The strategic work will be included in the team back logs and prioritized versus project work by the Product owner in close dialogue with the Attribute Architect. You will act as the stakeholder and set the expectations on deliveries by the team for all committed work packages related the strategic work. What you'll bring
You have a M.Sc. in Electronics, Physics or similar and you must have long, at least 10 years, of product development within the automotive industry. You have good knowledge about the vehicle electronical system and automotive demands on electronics and are passionate about our customers and their desire of a well-balanced product, including cost. You have experience of analyzing and assessing electrical performance on component, system or complete vehicle both in early and late project phases. Knowledge about tools such as FMEA, 6sigma and root cause analysis is also a merit. You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. You are interested in taking part in our journey towards both new products and new ways of working!
