What's in it for you?
This role is within our Industrial Operations team, which has the goal to provide digital technologies to support our manufacturing and supply chain solutions globally. You will be part of the global manufacturing execution cluster with the goal enable smart analytics for our factories globally. You will be working closely with colleagues in the factory (engineering, operation & maintenance) in designing, configuring and managing solutions for real time analysis of data from our production.
What you'll do
You will work in agile software development and assist the team in analyzing features, stories and talking to users to understand their needs. This means that you will write high quality code with support of tools and concepts like code reviews, pull requests etc. You will build analytical capabilities (data streaming, real time data analytics) for our factories in the AWS cloud. Continuous integration and continuous deployment. We value great communication skills as interaction with users and other stakeholders for requirement analysis as well as support.
You and your skills
We are looking for a python software engineer, newly graduated or with a few years of experience. We believe you are user focused and passionate about solving problems. Passionate about software development and interest in staying up to date with new technologies. You are open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve. You are energetic, have forward thinking and you push for innovation. Have a holistic viewpoint and being value oriented. Strong belief in agile ways of working especially in accordance with SAFe. You have experience of successful collaboration in global teams. You can communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing.
Technical background
You have experience of programming, testing and keen to learn about operations in the cloud. Python background required. Knowledge within other programming languages is beneficial. Knowledge of back-end development including data models, back-end services (REST APIs, MQTT). Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Knowledge of cloud-based solutions in AWS. You have knowledge in technology frameworks like Grafana, Kibana etc.
