Main functions of the post:
To provide support to a broad range of Human Resources activities. Assists with the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening and evaluating candidates, preparing relevant documentation, maintaining contact with candidates and offering advice / assistance to hiring managers. Prepares acknowledgements of resignation, certificates of employment and any other formal documents relating to staff matters, in line with our clients policies and procedures. Assists with the preparation of letters of appointment and entitlements to both new staff and existing staff. Manages the induction of all staff to the Institute; including arranging appropriate insurance cover and providing information relating to the relocation of internationally recruited staff and their families. Acts as focal point, and attends meetings between, HR and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Tax Office, or any other external governing bodies, regarding the official registration of International staff and any changes to Swedish legislation or governing processes that may affect our clients staff; assists with / solves any related issues or queries. Supports the Head of Human Resources with the daily running of the unit and carries out any other task or duties assigned by him/her.

Experience
Minimum 2 years working experience in the field of Human Resources. Experience of working within an international organisation or multinational corporation. Financial and budgetary experience an advantage. High School Diploma supplemented by relevant training or HR related courses. Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources Management a definite advantage.

Profile
Ability to work independently and under pressure, with minimum supervision and in teams. Good communication and presentation skills, written and spoken. Ability to operate in a discrete and confidential manner. Good attention to details. Client orientation and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment and be gender-sensitive.

Language skills:
English: Fluent written and oral
Knowledge of Swedish a definite advantage

Computer skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, internet and web search tools;
Excellent knowledge of recruitment databases;
Experience with Dreamweaver and Maconomy considered an asset.
