The successful candidate will conduct research within the area
of software engineering in the profile areas of the division (see
above). The position will be placed at the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering (D&IT) and the Software
Engineering Division.
The assistant professorship is a 4-year full-time tenure-track
position. After two years the Assistant Professor?s state of
progress will be assessed. The specific aim of the assistant
professorship period is to build and establish a research
group with external funding. The position involves research,
supervision of PhD students and teaching, mainly in the two
master programs in Software Engineering which admit 160
students per year, and the SE bachelor program which
currently admits 90 students per year. The programs have both
Swedish and international students and are taught in English.
Duties may also include academic leadership and management roles.
Mentoring and leadership training will be provided to the
successful candidate. Courses in graduate student
supervision and teaching will be offered. The department and
