TEMPORARY POSITION, 2 YEARS, FULL TIME (100%) FROM AUGUST 2013
Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) has a
mission to advance the theory and practise of business to
facilitate sustainable value creation in private and public
organizations, with emphasis on Entrepreneurship, Ownership
and Renewal. JIBS has about 150 employees and
2100 students, and it is one of four schools within Jönköping
University.
JIBS is highly ranked in entrepreneurship and family
business research and offers a strong research environment,
encouraging work over disciplinary boundaries. Over the
years, JIBS has succeeded in employing internationally
experienced and qualified staff with a passionate interest in
their respective areas. JIBS is now searching for an Assistant
Professor (?universitetslektor?) in Business Administration.
WORKING TASKS / QUALIFICATIONS
One of our Assistant Professors is leaving her position for
an internal leadership position and we therefore look for a
temporary replacement. You shall have the ambition and
capability to:
• Develop and conduct theoretically advanced teaching
of high practical relevance,
• Design, lead and conduct research projects,
• Attract external research funding,
• Publish in international, high-quality journals,
• Interact with stakeholders outside academia, and
• Contribute to building the organization by taking on
the responsibility for different leadership tasks.
Applicants should have completed their PhD degree
within the subject area or a related area. In addition, the
applicant should possess a demonstrated track record of
excellence in teaching and research, including publications
in international journals in the areas of ethics, social
responsibility, and/or social entrepreneurship.
Fluency in written and spoken English is compulsory. We
welcome applicants who have a track record of mastering
different research methods.
INFORMATION
This is a temporary position for 2 years. Starting date:
August 2013.
Salary is decided on an individual basis. Please include
