Are you passionate about numbers and have a knack for turning data into actionable insights? We're looking for someone just like you in Copenhagen, Denmark, to take on the exciting role of Assistant Business Controller Scandinavia. This isn't just about managing finances; it's about helping our service organization towards profitability and sustainable growth.
Your role involves working closely with our Business Controller Scandinavia, providing top-notch financial analysis and working closely with business leaders to guide them through economic challenges and opportunities. You won't be limited to local operations; your influence will extend over Scandinavia and corporate levels, requiring strong communication skills and a comprehensive approach to both finance and non-finance aspects.
Main duties for this role will be:
Month End Journal preparation and Posting
Running and preparing of month end Reports.
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts Packs
Production of Regular KPI reports for Operation and District Managers across Norway, Denmark and Sweden
Reporting Support for Quarterly District Reviews
Productivity Analysis of the front-line operatives
OneStream Reporting of Month End and Quarterly Figures
Assisting with Annual Budgeting Process
Support with internal and external audit requirements
Scandinavia - Supporting Procurement Tenders
DK/NO- Supporting Overdue AR and Liaising with Credit Authorities.
DK/NO - Liaising with Fleet Provider regarding Fleet Management
VAT reporting & Tax calculations
Fixed assets & Insurances
What we are looking for in the successful applicant:
Graduate in Finance Related Course or at least 2 years' experience in a finance or financial accountant role
A team player with good communication skills
Proficient in Danish and English (verbal and written)
Excellent IT Skills, proficient especially in excel.
VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables are often used.
SAP experience would be a benefit but not essential.
Occasional travel to Norway and Sweden.
You have an inquisitive nature and are not afraid to ask questions. As a person you are accurate and pays attention to detail. Being motivated, organised and proactive comes naturally to you.
