www.fingerprints.com FPC seeks one or more ASIC Verification Test Lead Engineer to help us in developing future fingerprint systems for smartphones and other mobile devices. The sensor design is a mixed-mode design in a standard CMOS process. FPC is a global leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the entire system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to the algorithms and software for fingerprint including the recognition, and applications on the target devices.
The Role
The position as ASIC Verification Test Lead Engineer includes working in close cooperation with colleagues to develop future sensor systems to meet future demands for fingerprint systems. In FPC you will be able to work with projects from concept to proven silicon. You will be the driving force in the ASIC product approval process, meaning taking the overall verification responsibility from the design phase to final product approval. The role includes working with test specifications and planning in an early stage of the projects followed by project leading and participation in the verification test work in the LAB. You will handle different kinds of projects and get in contact with many different groups inside FPC. If you like verification, test and quality work together with creativity and flexibility this might be the position for you.

The work location will be preferred in Gothenburg as agreed between FPC and the candidate. International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers is a natural part of the job.
Your Background
This role requires a master degree, preferably within Electronics. A personal interest in electronics combined with an interest in learning new things are more relevant than a long academic background. Practical electronic know-how is required and previous project lead experience is a plus.
You can communicate fluently in English, written and spoken, and have the possibility to travel if necessary.
Success in this role requires:
• Previous experience in the field of micro-electronics
• Knowledge within verification and testing
• Good communication skills
• Experience fro m project or object lead in a technical environment or at least the ambition to do so in the future
• Good social skills coupled with a problem-solving mindset
Desirable knowledge:
• Knowledge in ASIC design (analog + digital)
• Knowledge in LabView
You also have essential qualities such as being ambitious, motivated and flexible. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to take on considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the company's success. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
