We are looking for a talented engineer to join our ASIC verification team.
This position as ASIC verification engineer is located in our headquarters in Lund, Sweden.
Who Is Your Future Team?
Axis has a long history of developing digital integrated circuits for use in our products, particularly network cameras. These chips contain general-purpose processors as well as custom hardware for image processing and analysis. The ASIC verification team is responsible for ensuring that our hardware designs are functioning correctly. We take pride in delivering top quality work using the latest techniques.

What Will You do as an ASIC Verification Engineer?
To enable us to test our chip designs before we send them for manufacturing, we use simulation as well as formal methods. One of the most commonly used techniques includes describing the input to the design under test using constraints and randomizing it.
Our verification environments are quite elaborate, so developing and maintaining them requires a good understanding of digital hardware as well as software engineering principles. In particular, we make extensive use of object-oriented frameworks. Debugging and identifying potential problems in the hardware design is also a fundamental part of the job.
Since we are a relatively small team, you will have the possibility to work with a wide variety of different verification related tasks. We work with agile methods, and you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to achieve our goals.
Our in-house developed hardware often implements functions such as image processing, video compression, and computer vision. As a verification engineer, you will also have the opportunity to learn about these algorithms.
Who Are You?
We are looking for an engineer interested in learning state of the art techniques for ASIC verification. Since programming is a fundamental part of the job, you must enjoy writing code. It is also desirable that you have an aptitude for understanding, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. Personal drive and the ability to learn fast is more important than formal education and previous experience.
