• To support achievements of targets for Service Sales and P&L
• To provide short and long term forecast for orders received and sales
• To provide monthly report for own area
• To drive sales development towards set targets
• To support marketing and sales activities in collaboration with central marketing team
• Initiate sales and product trainings in collaboration with Market Area Service Sales
• To provide market intelligence and insights from own area e.g. pricing, market shares, trends, competition etc.
• To actively participate in the order process and way of working development for more efficiency
• To actively participate in the budget and strategy work
• Responsible for successful implementation of the Kalmar service sales strategy in own area
• Actively participate in the transformation from product- to service culture.
Making your next move count
Kalmar VP Sales and Product Management is looking for a Director, Area Sales Support to coordinate activities in own area and to align activities with Market Area to achieve set targets. The job holder will be member of the Service Sales Leadership Team and report directly to the VP Sales and Product Management.
You will be closely working with the Market Area Management Team, Market Area Service Sales, Management Team for Service Sales and Product Management and Head of Solution Sales in ME and APD.
There will be travelling involved.
The position will be located either in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland or in Ljungby, Sweden.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and analytical skills and creative business mind.
Ideally you have:
• Commercial and technical background, Bachelor degree
• At least 5 years of relevant business / service operational experience
• Proven track record in managing B2B sales
• Significant experience in relevant business segments
• Strategic capacity
• External orientation
• Passion for results
• Leadership
• Strong team player
• Language skills of the respective countries next to English are of advantage.
