The Architect assume overall technical responsibility for the design and implementation of end-to-end, large scale complex solutions. The Application Architect also advises on engineering practices, development environments, and processes.

Role and Responsibilities:
Designing and developing solutions for complex business requirements, core software components and frameworks.
Establish reference application architecture and technology roadmap in line with the business strategy.
Evaluate alternatives, and process requirements.
Support Infrastructure planning and security definitions.
Recommend best practices for application development.
Architect highly scalable software solutions.
Deliver projects on-time and to specification with quality.
Champion Non-Functional Requirements and evolve Architecture to meet increasing expectations and reduce technical debt.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science with 6+ years of experience.
3+ years of experience in architecting Web applications and Service oriented systems.
Should have very good understanding of distributed architecture.
Hands on experience in applying standard design methodologies and engineering best practices.
Ability to translate complex concepts to technical solutions.
Ability to assess alternatives objectively.
Passion for application design and development, with focus on scalability and simplicity.
Passion to learn and evangelize new technologies.
Experience with Agile development teams and good inter-personal skills.
