Ikano Business Area Finance is one of 5 Business Areas within the Ikano Group.

Ikano Business Area Finance is represented in eight countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Germany, Austria and Poland) and is providing banking and financial services such as store cards, loyalty cards, credit cards, CRM services, niche banking, leasing and personal loans.
Business Area Finance IT (BAF IT) is supplier of all IT services to business units within the Ikano Business Area Finance.

As Application and Integration Architect within BAF IT you will be a part of the Application Management (AM) department, a multisite team consisting of around 100 coworkers located in Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The unit is responsible for developing and maintaining all software required within BAF, independent of whether it is internally developed applications or software packages bought externally. Position location is Lund.

Your overall responsibility as an Application and Integration Architect will be to:

• Take responsibility for the roadmap of the application landscape
• Describe architectural- and design patterns and frameworks to be used for integration
• Develop and maintain the Application Portfolio (Life Cycle Management)
• Secure application architecture, from an information-, business- and technology point of view
• Set standards and ensure reusable interfaces
• Contribute with input for development method and tools to be used for implementing new solutions
• Describe which reusable software services that are to be reused or built new
• Participate in new projects for solution design focusing on interfaces and services
• Work together with Solution Architects, who are detailing the solution Work together with System owners (Product Managers) for strategic and tactical questions regarding the product connected to architecture
• Lead Architecture reviews

Your overall key goals:

1. Effective integration of each application solution into the broader business and IT landscape
2. Continuous evolution of applications to drive and enable greater business value
3. Cost-effective delivery of applications, including the optimal selection of implementation technologies, practices and skills for application delivery success
4. Design processes and delivery improvement

Your background and experience;

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or Informatics.
• Proven experience from working with application architecture and architectural framework, e.g. TOGAF for at least 5 years.
• Solid application architectural background.
• Experience from SOA architecture
• Skills in lean and agile development methods
• Knowledge about design patterns for integration

Knowledge and experience from the financial sector is an advantage.
