Your mission - supporting the sales department to enable smooth sales processes and satisfied customersApplication and Sales, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, is responsible for preparing technical and commercial documents for our global sales organization. We're responsible for calculating processes, drawing flowcharts and estimating costs to enable smooth sales processes and ensure satisfied customers. Since our projects vary, we constantly meet new challenges and possibilities - making this an exciting opportunity to constantly challenge yourself and your knowledge while evolving your skills and your career together with us!Important pre-sales activities include analyzing customers' needs and suggesting cutting edge solutions for how to integrate our products and services, sometimes with existing systems and equipment. You're responsible for exploring, identifying and developing new application areas as well as developing existing ones. Since you work closely with our global sales department and our customers in this role, frequent international travel is a part of the assignment. Your character - a committed and forward-thinking engineer with a passion for exceeding expectations We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience from international project sales. You have an engineering degree within machining or construction, and a passion for continuously learning new ways and methods. You're a natural problem solver who always puts our customers first and strives to exceed their expectations, while acting in line with business priorities. To achieve success in this role, it is highly beneficial if you have skills in Solid Works or a similar 3D program. Previous experience from mining or construction is also an advantage in this position. We work in a truly global environment and you need fluent skills in both written and verbal English, while knowledge of Swedish, Spanish, Russian or other languages used within the Group is highly beneficial.
