To Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery (SIT) with office in Finspång we are looking for an
Application Engineer
The Service division is working in marketing teams with overall responsibility for our customers from sales to completion of delivery. You will as applications engineer be a part of a team of salespeople and project managers. Our customers are mainly large electric power- and oil companies. Our gas turbines ensure availability of electricity, heat, oil and gas worldwide. The projects are large and technologically advanced.
What are my responsibilities?
• You are responsible within the team for the technical scope of our delivered gas turbine plants in external sales and delivery projects.
• You are in charge of technical investigations, subproject and are technical lead to end customer.
• You are contact for customers and Siemens local companies in technical matters.
• Business trips occur to a certain extent to the clients and local companies.
• The work also includes contributing to our business development.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Experience in operations and maintenance, testing, construction or installation.
• Good in English, both speaking and writing. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Ambition to evolve in a new surrounding and work with customers in a foreign culture.
• The work is independent, with many internal and external contacts requiring considerable initiative, interpersonal skills and a distinctive sense of service.
