www.sulzer.com.Are you a skilled professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with excellent customer service? If so, we are looking for an Application and Tendering Engineer with a background in chemical or mechanical engineering to join our team.
Sulzer is a global leader in fluid technology, specializing in pumping, stirring, mixing, and purification solutions. We are currently seeking an Application and Tendering Engineer to be part of a dynamic, customer-oriented team based in Mölndal. Here you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced application engineers with extensive knowledge in agitators.
Your Responsibilities
As an Application Engineer at Sulzer, your daily tasks will involve extensive customer interaction, where your product expertise will support sales representatives and customers with technical support. You will become a key figure in agitators and the Salomix and Scaba brands. Your main duties will include providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales process, from tendering to the order phase. This includes documentation, quotation work, and responding to customer inquiries about the products. Your work will also involve utilizing your product and application knowledge to troubleshoot and share valuable insights in the development of new techniques, products, and concepts. You will be active in several markets, such as the pulp and paper industry, metals, food and biofuels, chemical process industry, and municipal wastewater. As our clients are spread across the globe, the role involves some travel, primarily in combination with training and customer visits.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in mechanical or chemical engineering as well as a strong ability to understand processes and constructions. Experience in technical documentation and technical sales support would be advantageous. Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English are essential.
Additionally, we believe that you work efficiently both independently and in a team. You approach problem-solving with a curious and positive attitude while enjoying taking initiative and driving tasks forward in a structured and meticulous manner.
