hela Sverige We at GRIN AB (the developer of titles such as GRAW, GRAW 2, Bionic Commando and Bionic Commando Rearmed) are looking for a talented 3D Animator to take part in our creative team, working on a wide variety of next generation titles. Here you will be members of a strong team specializing in creation of animations that push the concepts of realism to new levels.
Strong knowledge in either of the major 3D packages is essential, and any experience working with and optimizing motion capture data is advantageous but not a must. Experience with Autodesk Motionbuilder will also be advantageous since this is the 3D animation package used at the studio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To create believable high quality animations, export and implement them into the game, and naturally take part in any bug fixing needed.
Be capable of managing scheduled tasks, and flag potential problems or delays to the respective Lead.
EXPECTATIONS
Strong knowledge in any major 3D animation package is essential. Experience with Autodesk Motionbuilder would be advantageous.
As no direct experience with animation for games is expected having worked on published titles is naturally advantageous, as is any knowledge implementing key-framed animation into any game engine.
Must be able to take direction and learn from the creative team.
The ability to communicate with the team effectively either through storyboards, spoken word and/or physically.
DEMO REEL REQUIREMENTS
Have a Demo reel (online, CD or DVD format) demonstrating a great understanding of all the essential animation concepts showing the ability to convey emotion through movement.
