Job Summary
Look and feel is central to the player experience, and we aim to make the best looking casino games the world has ever seen. As a FX artist at Relax Gaming, you will create stunning visual effects that come alive and reward our players. You have a profound understanding of animation principles, color theory, user experiences and visual effects. Fast conceptual iterations come as natural to you as rendering final work and implementing optimized in game effects to the finished product.
This job is all about that wow-factor, increasing game anticipation and enhancing excitement of winning streaks.
Our studio will have several game projects running simultaneously so expect the freedom to dynamically work with a wide variety of projects and art styles as well as contributing to several new and old IP's.
Responsibilities
• Creating particles, animations, geometry and textures
• Creating stunning effects that reward players as well as communicate in-game information.
• Create art assets for a wide range of art styles
• Produce final content for implementation in the game
• Optimizing assets for file size and performance as well as responsiveness
Job requirements
• You have completed education or equivalent work experience as an animator or fx artist
• You're a great artist with a keen eye for quality
• A solid understanding of animation principles
• Proven ability to create VFX and animations with memory limitations in mind
• Experience using Adobe After Effects
• Experience working with 3D and 2D software as well as different VFX systems
• You thrive in a fast paced environment and embrace having many projects running at the same time
• An excellent understanding of visual communication and user experience
• Passionate about games, with an understanding of game-play mechanics
• Experience in agile methodologies
• You're a positive team player that gladly speaks your mind
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in english

Location
The Malmö studio is perfectly located on Lilla torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of the city. It's a five minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside our doorstep.
