About the consulting assignment
The Arena:
The department Inhalation Product Development in Gothenburg develops devices, formulations and analytical methods for both small molecule and biological drugs within the respiratory therapy area.
Tasks and responsibilities/The role:
We are looking for 3 analytical chemists who can work with us to support our small molecule projects (temporary positions). You will determine concentrations and purity, characterize stability and degradation of the compound, the formulated product and the individual excipients in the formulations. You will also be part of the inhalation device development assessing the device characteristics. You will be collaborating with other analytical chemists, formulation scientists and device engineers in project teams to drive the projects and technologies forward.
About you
Minimum requirements:
• MSc or equivalent in chemistry, preferably analytical chemistry.
• Good knowledge in written and spoken English is necessary as well as laboratory experience including working with computerized systems.
• Experience in dealing with technical analytical problems and in resolving complex analytical issues.
• Knowledge of the analytical area such as method development and method validation.
• Experience from working with HPLC/UPLC
Preferred experience and key factors:
You should be well-organized, analytical, flexible and accurate with a good attention to detail. Good team working skills together with the ability to operate independently are also important. Experience of working according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. You should be able to generate, assess and report data with a clear understanding of its reliability, interpret findings and draw conclusions and recommendations so that their significance can be appreciated in cross-functional interactions. Previous work with inhaled products will be an advantage.
