Analysis and Verification Engineer, Vehicle Propulsion, Traction Battery

The engineering departments for the Electrical Propulsion Systems are responsible to design and deliver Electrical Drive Systems, Battery Systems, Power Supply and Charging Systems for electrified vehicles. Our group is responsible for system verification of the High Voltage System and the Traction Battery.

If you are looking for a new position within VCC which would offer you a variety of tasks, support your initiatives and gives you an opportunity to work out on the field, than we are the right team for you.

We are currently nine engineers in the team, in search for a new colleague that would work as an Analysis and Verification Engineer Vehicle Propulsion, Traction Battery.

Your work will include performing tests and analysis in the High Voltage System, developing and searching new solutions to improve design and calibration data. Your work will be very varied as you will work in HIL-environment running both manual tests and developing automatic tests, as well as working with test vehicles. This is why we are searching for a person who is outgoing and flexible. There is traveling to expect on this position, since expeditions might take place around Sweden and abroad.

Main responsibilities


Daily work will be combination of diverse tasks such as:
* perform sanity checks, Go/NoGo and I/O tests of complete software delivery;
* develop current and new test methods for the traction battery;
* continuously develop working process and procedures;
* deliver test results in a structured way, analyze those and propose improvements.

Due to your work diversity, you will collaborate with different departments, such as design and software integration teams for traction battery.

Qualifications

* Preferable education for this position is master degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics, or bachelor degree with several years of relevant experience.
* Understand High Voltage Systems & Electrical Safety and work within electrical architecture.
* In your daily work you will write and document verification methods in Electra, perform measurements and analysis in INCA and Canalyzer, and also use Matlab and Simulink to some extent.
* It is an advantage if you have project management skills as you will work in several different projects in parallel.
* We expect you to have driving license, to be able to attend and execute driving tests.
* Good English skills are required since all documentation is in English.

* We expect you to be an outgoing person, problem solver and last, but not least, good team player. Cooperation with each other is especially important in this position
* You should be structured and organized, but at the same time flexible and prepared for instant changes
* With good communication skills you will place internal collaboration and final results on higher level
