What 's in it for You
You will be part of the ART Traction battery SW at Vehicle propulsion, the heart of electrification at Volvo Cars. The group Battery Controls System A&V is responsible for the system verification of the Traction Battery System. Our vision is to be leading in SW testing and continuously evolve our way of working.

Then the role as Analysis and Verification Engineer in our team is the place for you to prosper. In this role you will get in contact with a lot of different tech as well as with different people, therefore this is an amazing opportunity for you to explore and set the direction for your future career.
What You'll Do
You will work in HIL- and battery laboratory environment running both manual tests and developing automatic tests, as well as working with test vehicles. You will deliver test results in a structured way, perform analysis and propose improvements. You will also perform sanity checks and tests of complete software delivery.
You will together with your team ensure the development of current and new test methods for the traction battery focusing on System Safety. You will also contribute to the continuous development of working processes and procedures.
Due to your work diversity, you will collaborate with different departments, such as design and software integration teams for the traction battery.
Occasional traveling is to expect in this position since expeditions will take place around Sweden and abroad.
Competence is Important
We see that you have a master's degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics or a bachelor's degree with a couple of years of relevant experience. You have knowledge in high voltage systems, electrical safety and electrical architecture and are comfortable working according to ISO26262. You will also need experience of SW-testing, using Electra, INCA and Canalyzer.
ISTQB certification would be meritorious.
