Analysis and Verification Engineer-Switches and Comfort Electronics

The group Analysis and Verification (A&V) is a part of the section Switches and Comfort Electronics which is responsible for the subsystems, Climate Control, Parking Climate, Seat-, Window-, Mirror-, Roof- Control, User Input and Interior Lights. The group today includes 12 persons and we are responsible for A&V of all systems in the section.

As an Analysis and Verification Engineer you will be responsible for software system testing. This responsibility includes transforming requirements into a methodology for how subsystems shall be tested and verified. Working with method development and building test equipment is an important part of the job. Our project delivery consists of analysis and error reporting from bench systems, HIL-system and vehicle testing. You will be given a testing area to grow into, manage and build up knowledge. Working with system testing means that you establish and develop relationships with designers within different system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the designs within those areas. In order to test the vehicle in different environments this position requires that you are able to travel a couple times a year.

Two openings are available of which one is a senior position.

Main responsibilities

• System tests and trouble shooting on all systems owned by the section
• Report deviations and secure verification of changes
• Summarize deliveries to our internal customer
• Monitor progress in your tests efforts
• Create, maintain and improve test methods (e.g. Vehicle, HIL system, test bench) in your area of ??responsibility
• Acceptance test on component level when new software is delivered
• Secure the test scope and availability of test objects through the project
• Be active part of "continuous improvement" within the group

Required qualifications

• M.Sc or B.Sc. within electronics, physics, mechatronics or equivalent
• Experience from software development and system design, preferably within automotive industry
• Some experience of software system/component testing
• Knowledge on tools and concepts within the automotive industry such as: Vector tools CANalyzer, CANoe or INCA. Diagnostics, Software download, LIN, CAN, FlexRay is meritorious
• Certified by "International Software Testing Qualifications Board" (ISTQB) is meritorious
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
