Key responsibilities:

The Agile Tools Manager is member of the Automation Chapter, an organization unit within the SAFe/DevSecOps based organization of Ikano Bank Digital. The Chapter is responsible for guidelines, best practice and guiding activities for setting up environments, tool chains and strategies applied on the Ikano architectural landscape.

The Agile Tools Manager is responsible for the tools needed for the SAFe/DevSecOps organization to deliver according to plan. Based on requirements from stakeholders such as the Agile teams, Product Management, IT Security and others the Tools Managers will be responsible for sourcing, establishing and maintaining necessary tools for collaboration, documentation and follow up. One important responsibility will be to support active communities of practice for the area.

You will be working in a high intensity, creative environment being a key resource to help our agile teams to deliver innovative ways of working. You will be responsible for planning, designing, deploying, maintenance and troubleshooting through all layers of the Software Development Life Cycle.

The main responsibilities include:

• Optimize the tool landscape over time to meet both needs from stakeholders and a sustainable cost level
• Support the Automation agenda to improve efficiency improvements throughout several deliveries
• Lead your own activities, negotiate scope, develop estimates, plans, monitoring metrics, and provide daily guidance
• Oversee the ongoing activities status; identify risks. Develop, recommend and implement risk mitigation solution
• Make recommendations to improve and support business activities.
• Serves as a subject matter expert and the liaison between technical personnel and non-technical personnel.

Professional skills

• Great communication skills (written and verbal)
• Keen interest in agile tools and how they can delivery innovation
• Open-minded, should be able to adapt to working in a multi-cultural team atmosphere
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, roles, and work in an agile environment
• Strong technical skills and understanding of data base structures and infrastructure elements on system and system integration level.

Experience

• 2-3 years' experience from Enterprise Planning and ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, CI/CD tools, Jenkins etc.
• Hands on experience from SAFe, DevOps and ITIL, certification beneficial.
• Hands on experience from Jira Align, Confluence and JSM is beneficial
• Experience from Cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Experience from integration of CI/CD tools to ITSM tools

Key figures

The Agile Tools Manager is part of the Automation Chapter falling under the umbrella of the central Ikano Development organization consisting of a total of 60+ co-workers, and therefore you may be working on one or more simultaneous changes across the location within the bank.

You will be expected to take an active role in Infrastructural cloud-based configurations, strategy work around best practice implementations based on target architecture and quality understanding of all deliverables done by the team and the impact of thus changes.
