Our client is a leading, global provider of secure and seamless wireless connectivity software for operators, enterprises and mobile device manufacturers. The company was founded in 1996 and is since 2002 listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. It is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with competence centers in Sweden, Finland and the United States. The management and the finance function are located in Stockholm.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, accounting standards such as IFRS and other regulations. Areas of responsibility will also include tax compliance and planning; monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of actual numbers; participation in budgeting, forecasting and cash management; and involvement in ad-hoc projects. The job will consists of 60-70% managing the regional accounting (Sweden), plus subsidiaries’ accounting in Finland and USA. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO to serve as a strategic business partner to ensure high quality accounting.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Master’s/ Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting
• 3+ years of public accounting experience from Big Four
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with IFRS
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to act as a part of a team
PREFERED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Verbal and written communication skills in any of Nordic languages
• Knowledge about the Software Business
• Experience with group consolidation in an international environment
• Experience with team sports
