Are you our new Account Manager / Sales Colleague, driven and strong in active relationships?

Open to vigilant ways to create valuable relations and deliver results? We are looking for the right person to take the lead as Account Manager to maximize market share in the West and South of Sweden. You will be responsible for driving sales for the appointed hotels in your cluster as well as deliver sales to all hotels within Carlson Rezidor Hotel group. As this position is a new role you will be part of building up the role and develop revenue in an entrepreneurial way, vigilant for new ways to exploit the commercial environment and key networks in the market. You will be located in Gothenburg and report to the Cluster Director of Sales West, South & South/East as well as being part of our National sales team, developing revenue generation with our Yes I Can Spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive revenue, primary transient and M, for the hotel cluster and the area of hotels within

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group
Develop and manage a selected account portfolio of existing clients across the region
Proactively also identifying revenue opportunities and establish new business sales contacts, relationships and revenue opportunities from clients in appointed market of West & South, East Sweden
Be part of relevant networks in the appointed markets
Develop knowledge of each account, its pipeline, supplier management and strategic focus
Create consultative selling approach to maximize commercial opportunity for the hotels
Work alongside the Travel Management Company (TMC) to ensure account development is properly implemented at all levels
Ensure good communication and coordination with global account managers and area Sales Teams to support and assist handling enquiries and follow up on to win the lead

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous, 4-5 years of B2B Account Management experience within the hospitality, travel or service related industries
Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas, in contiguous, multiple years
Excellent ability to communicate verbal and written, fluently and concisely in local language as well as English
Experience in working in multiple markets and/or multi-property
University graduate qualification or equivalent
Full driving license, ability and also as one of your drives, to travel
An energetic, creative and confidence-inspiring approach
Desirable if you have previous experience of Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
Be able to deliver revenue by selling experiences and consultative selling
