You will be part of Marine & Ports in Västerås, a business line within ABB's Industrial Automation division. The Marine & Ports team's goal is to make container and cargo handling safer, greener and more productive in the world's vital cargo hubs which handle a majority of all the cargo transported in the world. You will be working in the world of giant robotized cranes, intelligent automation and digital solutions which optimize the container flow in terminals worldwide; designed, developed, and delivered by the global Ports team.

Your responsibilities
Combining your interest in technology with doing business, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
Involvement in the entire sales process from identifying business opportunities, meeting customers, analyzing their needs, finding the best solutions based on our system and product range and finally presenting an offer to the customer.
Collaborating and holding technical and commercial negotiations with different stake holders.
Holding responsible for selecting equipment, managing delivery times and cost accounting to enable a successful project delivery to the customer by our organization.
Ready for undertaking a varying job that takes you to the world's major port cities.

Your background
A university degree in engineering combined with relevant work experience preferably from systems sales.
Great interest in technology and understanding of customer needs.
Knowledge from engineering, project management, cargo handling or shipping industry or other process industry, is considered a plus.
Experience from working in global teams, is a benefit.
You are a driven, open-minded, committed and self-reliable person.
You are a great communicator.
Fluency in English and in Swedish is mandatory, written and spoken alike.
