Studi is a multi lingual, digital, learning tool. It consists mainly of animated, educational videos (lessons), covering a wide range of school subjects. We have over a hundred thousand users worldwide, with new users registering every day.
About the position
We produce high quality content at a high pace. Our organisation is rapidly growing, and we need to expand our production team. We need to fill this position as soon as possible, so time is of the essence!
We want You to join our team of inhouse animators, providing high end animations for our web-based lessons. It's a full time job, and you will be working beside us in our office space in central Stockholm.
The main software used for this is After Effects, with use of the plugin tool Duik.
Skills needed
To excel at this you will need to be fluent in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator. Our videos involves both character animation and infographics, so preferably you have some experience in both fields. You need to be a good storyteller, with an eye for graphic clarity and communication.
You will also need good Swedish or English writing skills, and be able to communicate in spoken and written English.
If you are familiar with javascript and write your own scripts to create better, smoother and beautiful animations, that's a big plus.
Since we are working with multilingual content, knowledge in German, Arabic, Swahili, Somali, Dari, Farsi or Tigrinya is also a big plus.
If we like what we see, you will be assigned a short script, which you will use to create a short worksample. (Illustrations, backgrounds, audio and character rigs will be provided by us). You will have one week to finish the work sample after we've sent it to you.
