What's in it for you?
The section Thermodynamics, belonging to the department Environment & Fluid Dynamics have a long tradition of using CFD as a tool for engineering and design processes. We are currently 18 persons working within the section.
The CFD related part of the section is responsible for planning and performing CFD analysis in all phases of vehicle programs, both individually and in teams. We work together with system/attribute leaders, analysis engineers, stylists and designers to develop and verify our systems and components in our future vehicles. An important part of our work is to continuously improve our working processes and methods. Furthermore, close cooperation with universities and participation in global research programs are an essential part of our long term development. We are now looking for a 1st CFD Analysis Engineer to join us.
What you'll do
As member of the CFD Thermo team you will be involved in planning and performing CFD analysis in all phases of vehicle programs as well as support and involvement in our physical testing. You will also support the department's method development projects to meet our future challenges and mentoring thesis work students.

* At least 5 years of experience in CFD
* MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver's license (B)
If you also have the following skills and experience we consider it highly meritorious.
* Skills in ANSA, StarCCM+, Ansys/Fluent, Radtherm
* Programming / scripting experience
* Experience from automotive CFD within the attribute thermodynamics
