Vidispine the company
Vidispine is a fast growing IT company with offices in Kista and Umeå. We develop advanced systems for video and image management, powering large media production systems around the globe. The core of our business is an API-based video platform that our customers build into their video production workflows. Since 2009, software developers and content owners have used our API to solve some of their most complex challenges in building data-driven, cloud-based video contentmanagement solutions. We have been awarded the DI Gasell award for being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden two years in a row, 2017 and 2018.
What you will do
Vidispine is expanding and needs to be strengthening in the area of visual communication. While the main part of your work will be around marketing and our web presence, we also expect that you will lend a hand in our product projects as well. Those assignments might range from creating a visual identity for our products, improve our presentations, doing graphics for events and print, as well as being a part in creating graphics for instructional and promotional videos.
We hope that you will contribute to Vidispine by making sure we have a consistent visual identity in our web eco-system, and later across our product range. You will work together with our marketing and growth team, and interact with product managers, our frontend team and interaction designers.
Who are you
You are creative, has a passion for graphical design and visual communication as well as marketing. You are a team player who likes having responsibilities and someone who can take initiative. You can easily understand new technology and are not afraid of sharing your own ideas!
We think you have a few years of experience of working with visual design and/or UX from either the marketing side or product side. We also think you have a portfolio that you want to show and explain the "why" behind your designs. We need someone who has a big passion for design, who loves to work hands on, and who sees the importance of a good user experience.
In addition, we think that you are:
• Positive and posses very good communication skills
• Engaged and passionate about your projects
• Professional experience of a design and prototyping such as the Adobe Suite, Sketch and Invision
• Interested in UI/UX and moving media
