We are proud product owners for components, systems as well as complete powertrains. This means that we are accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. The majority of our powertrain components are traditional combustion engines, after treatment systems, transmissions and axles however the importance of e-mobility components is growing every day.
The initiated change program "Next Gear" within PE aims at closing the gaps in well-known technologies as well as mastering new technologies, improving quality, reducing development lead-time and cost and driving innovation & employee engagement.
In this position you will belong to a dynamic global PE leadership team eager to develop a high performing organization with a strong one-dimensional line organization. An organization dedicated to technology as well as empowering and developing our employees. We always use customer satisfaction as the ultimate performance measurement.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
As Vice President Strategic Development you will have the full responsibility to plan, secure execution of advanced engineering and to pilot main strategic technology plans within PE. As part of the PE Next Gear change program there will be a new substructure with a system and complete powertrain focus put in place. The aim for strategic development to be even closer connected to the rest of the PE organization.
Your first task will be to shape with inputs from our preparation teams the organizational structure for Strategic Development. You will also get the opportunity to recruit the management team who together with you will lead the organization of roughly 100 employees.

• You are holding a Master's degree in engineering
• You have a proven experience from leading other leaders
• You are well experienced in the automotive industry especially within the area of Powertrain
