hela Sverige An international companygroup in the central of Stockholm are looking for a Financial Accountant with 1-3 year financial workingexperience.
Your day will be full of various tasks.
Job-description as follows:
Maintain the local Chart Of Accounts / General Ledger and related master data in SAP.
Ensure accounting and accurate and timely financial reporting on a monthly basis in line with Regional timeline and in compliance with US GAAP and Group Accounting Policies.
Ensure timely legal reporting to local authorities, (VAT, Environmental tax, Intrastate, etc).
Prepare statutory accounting and reporting according to local GAAP and local legal requirements. (Preparation of statutory report outsourced to service provider).
Drive harmonization / standardization efforts for accounting, closing and reporting processes and procedures between the countries.
Ensure comprehensive accounting documentation is kept and archived in an appropriate manner, in line with group and local requirements, and available for review by internal or external audit.
Prepare account reconciliations in a timely manner.
Perform monthly financial analysis and analytical review of the country actuals.
Take ownership of country financials and accounts. Analyse forecasts versus actuals and understand why there are deviations.
Co-ordinate and maintain efficient working relationships with external / internal service providers where applicable (e.g. for preparation of statutory accounts and tax return, inter company accounting and payroll)
Ensure timely preparation for the external audit according to wish-list. Support timely closure of any internal/external audit findings
Where applicable, provide guidance, advice and training to internal customers to ensure policy and standards are met
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and systems
Participate in and act upon ad-hoc projects and tasks required to deliver timely and accurate financial information.

1-3 years of work experience within finance/accounting, ideally in a large and global company.
Knowledge of local accounting standards, preferably also US GAAP.
Experience in systems and processes optimization and standardization is desired.
SAP skills are strongly desired.
Languages : English and Swedish.
University degree in finance/accounting.
