What can EA Gothenburg offer you?
EA is looking for a talented and self-motivated person that is passionate about developing User Interface and Heads Up Displays. You will be writing code in C++ as well as working with our internal editors for User Interface development.
User Interface Engineer is part of the User Interface team, together with the UI Lead designer and UI artist you will create the best UI for our game project. The key to this is to maintain a good tightly integrated teamwork process and productive communication within your own team as well as the other studio teams.
What experiences does EA Gothenburg look for?
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or similar discipline and at least four years' work experience. Your previous work experience should consist of excellent knowledge in C++, experience developing for systems with limited resources, e.g. memory and CPU, excellent grasp of object oriented programming. Skills in UI design and/or usability design, Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop and Actionscript 2 would be considered an advantage.

EA is looking for a UI engineer with experience of creating high quality user interfaces, preferably in game UI. Fearlessness, innovation and an awareness of cost are skills we are looking for. In this position you should be brave enough to present alternatives which may be similar in design but at a lower development cost. Furthermore you are open-minded to change, work efficiently and are goal oriented. It is vitally important is that you seek out ways to make improvements. You must be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure. You are a team player and possess excellent communications skills.
