hela Sverige You will be part of High Voltage Cables in Karlskrona. We manufacture high voltage cables and install them on land and offshore. In the workshop, we have a unique production environment for the latest cable technology on the market. Here we create efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable high technological transmission systems for a worldwide market.
Tasks:
Are you ready for exciting challenges and inspiring environments? Seize this opportunity to work strategically and operatively, at the office and on site, reactively and proactively. As one of our mechanical engineers, you will strengthen our Field Technology department, technically supporting large installation projects. Given the nature of our work, you will be given the opportunity to influence both your own development and ours. Your main focus will be on designing and managing methods, equipment and requirement specifications for installations and sites. You will lead and take part in varying projects as well as represent ABB in installation campaigns on site - on land as well as offshore, in Sweden and abroad.
Requirement:
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree with specialization in Mechanical Engineering. Background from off-shore installation. experience from project organizations and delivery projects with customers from different countries and cultures.
Used to work according to standards and analyze the calculation reports to find solutions based on the information. Furthermore, fluency in English as well as skills in, or the will to learn, Swedish is required.
You are an outgoing and open-minded leader who takes great responsibility for your work and projects. To successfully take on this position you also need great skills in putting theoretical work into practice. Equally important is your innovative mindset and ability to work toward deadlines and manage times of higher intensity. You contribute to a great environment and work just as well in teams as independently.
