If yes - we offer an opportunity to join our team as Truck Product Quality Leader (TPQL) in Gothenburg.

As a Product Quality Leader you will hold a strategic high important role belonging to the department Product Quality and Technical Service Europe & Latin America which is a part of the GTT Quality & Customer Satisfaction organization. The department has the overall responsibility for all short term quality improvements in its region.
The TPQL has the main purpose to manage the overall product status for each product type securing appropriate corrective action to meet Quality and Warranty cost targets.
The TPQL should be able to identify the gap between the target and the current status with help of different analysis methods. In this work you will support Q&CS management and collogues with the overall Quality and Customer satisfaction status on the Vehicles for Heavy Duty Trucks. The TPQL should be able to support to investigate quality issues, prioritize them and secure that appropriate corrective actions are taken to meet quality and warranty cost targets.
Responsibilities
• Define short term product quality and warranty roadmap to improve product quality and warranty performance for specific product range
• Contribute to long term quality roadmap development
• Make Prioritize of the Quality items within the Range with input from engineering and brands.
• Securing quality and warranty performance for his/her applications globally
• Communicate and interface with Brand Function
• Support the Quality news
• Monthly Reporting of full vehicle and assure and drive so that the picture is correct delivered from PQLs.
• Be a part of the working group of target setting for the target vehicles each year
• Identify potentiall safety related issue
• Be a part of the working group of target setting for the target vehicles each year.
• Coach other PQL on how to use quality tools

Qualifications
• BS or MS Degree in Technical Field
• 7+ years in Automotive Experience
• QRAFT/ ARGUS and other Volvo related Quality Tools high knowledge.
• Advanced understanding of the Problem solving process and Tools (incl RCA)
• Fully proficient in statistics knowledge (incl LVD, Diagnostic stats)
• Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
• Excellent English skills
• Excelent analytical skills
• Proficiency to consolidate complex cases made from several issues
• Customer facing: ability to represent company managing discussion on difficult complex quality topics
• Advanced ability to lead cross functional/ business /global teams and to challenge other organizations
Personal Profile
For success in this role you have work experience in relevant field for minimum 7+ years and proved and record in excellent communication and presentation skills. You enjoy working in cross functional, international environment. You have a deep technical interest and are willing to learn more about our products and their application.
