Your role is to serve as Center of Excellence resource for Water Solutions for any trade compliance efforts including export, US re-export, import, product classification, free trade agreements, denied party screening, anti-boycott, sanctions and embargoes etc.
You will develop, implement, and manage Xylem policy and standardized processes for compliance with global regulatory requirements. You will also develop, implement and manage education, reporting, metrics and audit program to ensure Water Solutions trade compliance.
Your focus areas are Europe, Middle East and Africa including coordination of Americas and Asia Pacific. You report to the Corporate Responsibility Director.
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering, MBA preferred. 10-15 years of progressive business experience in technical, trade compliance or business management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in trade and regulatory affairs and in translating and interpreting legal and regulatory information into business policies and practices.
• Excellent leadership ability, able to form, develop and motivate project teams. Good mentoring and coaching skills. High levels of energy, drive and focus.
• Excellent project management skills. Motivation to push projects through to solution and implementation; cognizant of time and budget constraints.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English. Knowledge in other languages is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
