www.thulegroup.com We are expanding our state of the art Global Test Center in Hillerstorp with a dedicated Test Engineer.
In this position you will play a vital part in proactively ensuring compliance for products mainly within our Active With Kids segment.
When developing products at Thule Group you will work towards high requirements and expectations in terms of product functionality, mountability, manufacturability, cost and reliability. In your daily work you will perform tests of components and complete products according the highest standards and demands from a local legislation perspective. You will work in close collaboration with our Lead Test Engineer for Active With Kids as well as other team members by planning and follow up test results through the development process.
Moreover, as a Test Engineer you need to create test plans, translate standards into best test methods, develop and design test rigs, perform tests, assess and analyze test results and write test reports. There is a high degree of interaction between the Test Centre and the Product Development- and Product Management departments in the various projects as well as being a resource for Quality and Purchasing.
As our new Test Engineer focusing on Active With Kids you must be a curious seeker of new knowledge as well as able to challenge set ways of working and old truths. You comfortably switch between deep analysis of regulation- and standard texts and the hands on approach of testing our products. Naturally you have a great technical interest as well as the ability to communicate and grasp higher level of the technical language. Former experience of testing, work within the field of compliance or practical quality work is seen as an advantage but not an absolute must. An important requirement is that you have an academic degree in Engineering e.g. Biomechanics or Mechanical Engineering, as well as fluency in English and Swedish.
