Technician full time at the Library Head Office
100% permanent after 6 months sample employment

Start of employment: as soon as possible
The Library Head Office is part of a network, Lund University Libraries, LUB, consisting of 30 faculty, departmental and centre libraries. The Library Head Office runs the digital library and coordinates the library network and has about 40 employees. The Library Head Office maintains and develops services for provision of access to electronic journals, e-books and databases, and as well for e-publishing for dissertations, postprints and is involved in a number of Open Access services. Responsibilities:
Daily maintaining, checking and monitoring of digital the library services
Helping librarians
Documenting
Qualifications:
Experiences in working with Sun Solaris and other Unix/Linux platform.
Experiences working with Oracle.
You speak and write fluent english. Swedish is an advantage.
Additional qualifications:
Any scripting/programming language such as.
Advanced Perl Programming, any other programming skills are considered as additional qualifications
MySQL
TCP/IP, HTTP, CGI
XML, XSL, XHTML, HTML, JavaScript
Apache
DBI
Linux
