What You Will Do
In your role as Technical Project Coordinator you will work closely with our Senior Director of Engineering and other key stakeholders to overcome daily challenges and drive successful outcomes. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing structure, planning, and task follow-up to add value to our engineering team. The job involves day-to-day coordination between cross-functional teams and stepping in to projects at various stages when necessary. The role also involves efficiently communicating among different departments for the completion of company cross functional tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, driving, and monitoring critical tasks in our day-to-day engineering projects.
- Supporting the Senior Director of Engineering and other key stakeholders with documentation, project structure, and activity planning.
- Scheduling and coordinating timelines to secure key organizational deliverables as well as project delivery milestones.
- Providing regular project progress reports to the NOVO Engineering management team.
- Managing general administrative coordination within the NOVO Engineering department as needed.
- Organizing and actively participating in daily and weekly stakeholder meetings.
- Planning, coordinating, and documenting employee onboarding as well as department workshops.
- Actively participating in organizational improvement meetings to contribute to the continuous scaling and optimization of NOVO Engineering.
Skills & Requirements:
You see yourself as an organized team player with a strong sense for structure. You take close attention to details and do this with a high sense of quality. Furthermore, you have a high level of flexibility and a personality of going needed extra miles to achieve the target. You see yourself as a multitasker with a high ability to work under high pressure where your problem-solving skills come close to hand. We believe that you have:
- BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering or similar
- Experienced in multi-cultural working environment
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Valid driving license in Sweden
- Business-level Swedish, Korean, Chinese, or Japanese language skill is a merit

Our Gigafactory in Gothenburg will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe, with a potential annual cell production capacity of up to 50 gigawatt hours (GWh) - thereby enabling a supply of batteries for approximately half a million Volvo and Polestar cars per year. Our state-of-the-art R&D facility will gather leading expertise from all over the world, to create the next generation battery cells.
