Aurobay is looking for a Technical expert Electrodynamics and e-Machine design. Electro dynamics and e-Machine design is a vital part of Aurobay's e-machine development and Aurobay's future product portfolio. As Technical Expert within Electrodynamics you will contribute to build up the eMachine development process, suggest development tools and propose eMachine design. In addition, you will choose and use applicable CAE tools to establish eMachine design and as well work closely with the existing cross functional design, CAE and Test team. You will report to Director Analysis & Verification.

What will you do?
As a Technical Expert within Electrodynamics', you will work with Chief Engineer Electric Drive at Aurobay R&D to form eMachine technical strategy. In parallel, you will build up a cross functional Design-CAE-Test team, by using existing expertise within concept design, CFD Fluids and CAE Solids as well as mechanical, functional and durability testing.
You will act as a go-to person within the area of expertise and as well utilize the existing development and production resources to create a new, profitable eMachine branch at Aurobay. Being a technical expert and go-to person means that you will work to secure succession by proactively provide mentoring and coaching to Aurobay Engineers. Part of your work will be to establish processes, methods and tools related to eMachine design and when needed, initiate, and supervise Operational Development projects.
As Expert you will as well proactively initiate and maintain cooperation with universities regarding test and simulation, deliver education material and hold lectures on eMachine design and Electrodynamics at Aurobay. You will get the opportunity to participate at conferences and contributions to academic papers. Also support presales team at R&D and support the Sales and Strategy organization and when needed be prepared to support task force activities.
You will be responsible for delivering applications for research and innovation projects which are co-financed by the authorities. Develop and maintain relations with universities through supervision of doctorate programs, thesis work etc. Proactively participate in seminars, conferences, and conventions. Participate in steering committees of external projects.
