Then this might just be the job for you! Starbreeze is now looking for a Technical Designer to join our award-winning team in Stockholm.
As Technical Designer, you will be responsible for working with tools and writing scripts to provide our designers functionality, from concept through implementation to a shippable completion. You will join forces with the design and engineering teams to ensure the smooth implementation of design in our game.
Job Tasks:
• Act as a link between Designers and Engineering to ensure seamless workflows
• Work with system and level design to implement gameplay features and in game events
• Be the "go-to" person on the design team for scripting and design tools as well as in depth knowledge of the engine and its capabilities
• Contribute in meetings dealing with technical issues related to all Design aspects
• Cooperate with our teams to identify solutions and proposals to design challenges and continuously strive to improve technical design processes
You have some with experience in video game design. You have experience with a C style programming or scripting language. You have knowledge of writing scripts and sequences. You are open-minded, adapt to feedback and understand iterative processes. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
