As our new team leader you will get the unique chance to work in a small but global unit, with short decision paths. We have the entire development and production chain, service and marketing functions under one roof. You will get an important role with great influence possibilities, being driver of a team of 5 experienced product developers. Your role also includes the capability to act as a project manager for our software applications.
This is an unique opportunity for you, if you want to work actively as a programmer, but also develop yourself by taking on a leading role and be part of the entire product development process, from requirements to delivery. In this role, you will work closely with both local and global colleagues.
You hold a Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Engineering and have a several years of experience with software development projects. Work experience with agile development within international teams is preferable. It is equally valuable, if you have good knowledge of Windows, experience in C++ and Visual Studio. Work experience with user interface and cyber security is also recommended. It is important that you are fluent in English, both verbal and written. You will be part of Lorentzen & Wettre (L&W), a unit within ABB Industrial Automation in Kista.
Lorentzen & Wettre is a world leading manufacturer of quality control and process optimization equipment in the pulp and paper industry. The unit is responsible for research and development, marketing, technical support and manufacturing. We are located in Kista, outside Stockholm and we are a team of 80 people. We have customers all over the world, and sales and service organizations in all major markets. On top of that, L&W is represented in about 35 countries through independent distributors. We have a very diverse product portfolio and our development department has therefor many disciplines: software, electronics, mechanics, measurement technics - with around 20 people working in the development department.
