The role
As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for commercial operations in the company and identifying business opportunities for our product portfolio. You will support customers within industry and academia and explore growth opportunities in existing and new markets within the life science segment. In the position, you will manage the network of distributors and conduct your own sales work by setting up plans and executing tasks.
You develop firm business relationships both nationally and internationally, thereby improving product sales and our position in the world market. Through discussion with customers, you will gain market input and by sharing this within the company we will drive development of the product portfolio and improve the business. In your role, you will report to CEO and work closely with the Marketing Manager, the R&D team when it comes to applications and with the rest of the team for other operational tactics. Since you will take the lead for commercial operations, you need to be self-motivated with a results-driven approach. You also need to demonstrate humility and a willingness to take on tasks at all levels, regardless of prestige to support team and company goals.
Qualifications
• University degree within Life science minimum BSc.
• Proven track record in sales
• Experience in leading and managing distributors
• Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
• Proficiency with CRM software or other business software
• Fluent in English in speech and in writing. Knowledgeable in Swedish is favourable.
• Ability to travel internationally from time to time
