We are a rapidly expanding, customer-oriented company with large clients around the globe. Axiomatics has its headquarters and development center in central Stockholm, an additional development section in Ukraine, and a strong American sales and marketing presence.
As a Java programmer with us, you will have a leading role in developing new products and affecting technology choices within the company. The role will include working with advanced data access and modelling through SQL and relational databases.
We are looking for flexibility, commitment and a willingness to accept a variety of tasks and challenges in a fluid work environment.
Required skills, education and experience:
• Top-flight Java developer skills with a fundamental understanding of object-oriented design
• Knowledge and understanding of relational databases and SQL. Over time, we expect the candidate to master advanced queries, query optimization, schema design and performance planning, JDBC and stored procedures
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years of work experience is a plus but not required
In addition to these qualifications, we are looking for a developer who will thrive in a research-oriented environment focused on questions concerning data access and data management systems. The successful candidate will be a passionate Java programmer with a keen interest in relational databases and NoSQL solutions as well as "big data", database virtualization and ETL technologies.
