About Group IT
Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
Assignment specification
Mainframe Integration is a Department within Infrastructure and Operations (I&O). Infrastructure and Operations key role is to deliver IT infrastructure and operational services in a flexible, cost-effective, and high-quality manner.
In the Mainframe Integration team we maintain and develop products such as IMS, DB2, Message Broker, MQ and CICS on the IBM z/OS – Mainframe Platform.
In the role as Infrastructure Engineer (Systems programmer) within Mainframe Integration you will maintain and develop mainly IMS but also CICS, MQ and/or Message Broker on z/OS. You will work with tools and technologies such as: z/OS, USS, SMP/e, BMC IMS Tools, Mainview, MQ Explorer, Putty and Filezilla.
We are looking for you who have several years of experience as Systems programmer in z/OS IBM Mainframe environment, especially IMS. We expect you to have a university degree. If you also have experience from MQ, CICS or Message Broker it is a plus.
You are a caring and driven personality with a positive and dedicated mind-set and you are interested in technology. Furthermore, you are driven and solution oriented and you are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral.
