An oppurtunity has arisen for an individual to work at the cutting edge of technology in an international environment. The department Systems Engineering & Bid Support are looking for a System Engineer.
Today the department consist of 12 systems engineers and we need to become more to meet our upcoming challenges.

Avionics Systems develops and manufactures qualified systems and equipment (software, electronics, mechanics and optics) for demanding applications in aircraft and helicopters. Many of these products are developed in collaboration with other parts of Saab or external partners.
Product Area Mission Avionics is part of the Business Unit Avionics Systems and has its operation in Jönköping and Järfälla. The product area develops communication systems, computers and head-up display systems.
Your role
We are looking for a System Engineer that has the ability to take technical lead in our projects and guide the organization regarding design solutions based on cost efficiency and customer requirements. In the future you take the role as Chief Engineer with full technical responsibility towards customers and authorities.
You will mainly work in our projects and report to the project manager which requires good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Travels may also be required both internally and to our customers.
As a System Engineer, you will be a part of and a driver for:
• Systems design activities
• Requirements definition and maintenance
• Defining technical solutions bases on customer requiments
• Bid Support and calculations as support to marketing and sales
• Technical interface towards our customers
• Verification and integration activities on system level
Your skills and experience
We belive that you are business minded, structured and analytic. Since you will be working in projects, it is also required that you easily can collaborate with others.
We are looking for a profile in the Missions Avionics domain knowledge comprising:
SW knowledge and experience from embedded system
General knowledge of the systems in an aircraft and/or helicopter environment
Communication system
General requirements
Appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a technical discipline.
Strong business understanding, customer focus and a performance driven way of working
Understanding and ability to work in an international environment and matrix organisation.
