Now we are looking for a System Security Engineer to join The Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems team. WHAT WILL YOU DO? You will contribute to the work of growing and expand the System competence area in order to be able to execute the long-term agenda set for the 2016-2020 period and thus ensure Axis will gain new markets and remain the leader. Your major areas of responsibility will be:
Cyber security technology development
Video Surveillance system design
Hands-on prototype development of complete chain from embedded camera functionality to end user system or SaaS, including both embedded software development and server software development.
Use-case development and investigations
Contribute to the long-term roadmap for the system area to guide future product innovation
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? As a person you are positive and outgoing and you would also describe yourself as patient, persistent and driven. You combine your visionary and innovative side with your passion for Cyber Security. You are curious about new technology and enjoy finding new applications for known technologies. It 's important that you can explain and promote your ideas and solutions to the team and within Axis. We want you to be interested in both technical and business aspects of a system solution. Always taking the customer needs into consideration and you strive to understand the underlying challenges. In addition to above we want you to have the following qualifications:
Engineering/Technical Masters degree or equivalent
Interest in and professional experience of cyber security technologies
5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in threat modelling or vulnerability assessment
Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and protocols
Excellent Swedish and English oral/writing communication skills required
The Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems team The Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems team are responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics and System. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.
The System competence group within Core Technologies focus their work on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications. This includes media technologies, unit discovery, cloud computing and communication as well as leveraging system functionality by developing and exploiting synergies across the network. We take the challenges of IoT seriously. WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU?
